Performing Arts students at
A new Multi-purpose Lecture Theatre/Performance Hall is also currently being developed on the Bridgend Campus.
Students will be involved in a wide range of performances throughout the academic year ranging from a Christmas pantomime to musicals to plays to showcase performances during corporate events such as the College's Annual Awards Ceremony.
Recent shows have included Disco Inferno, Vinegar Tom, Mother Goose, The Vagina Monologues, A Midsummer Night's Dream. This is along with a number of smaller events such as taking part in a mock trial for Crime Week,
Recently awarded a Grade 1 in their Estyn Inspection, the department has highly qualified, industry experienced staff, with 80% of them currently working professionally in the industry. This ensures that they bring first hand, up to date knowledge to their teaching and can pass on invaluable advice and support to their students.
